Trip to Desertas Islands

On a 7 hour trip, you will sail in the comfort of one of our catamarans along the south coast of Madeira Island, leaving Funchal Marina and landing in the crystal clear waters of a beach of volcanic origin, almost untouched by human impact.

With a total area of ​​12,586 hectares, the Desertas Islands Natural Reserve includes all the islands and islets (Ilhéu Chão, Deserta Grande, Bugio and adjacent islets) and the entire adjacent marine area. Being called Natural Reserves almost 26 years ago, they are now internationally known for the conservation work of Lobo Marinho.

Today it is possible to visit this lost pearl by sea. The only touristy island is Deserta Grande, where we can visit the Lobo Marinho recovery center and a patrimonial interest circuit, where you can see various cultural, morphological, and endemic local fauna and flora points.
